How to increase excerpt length in wordpress? [duplicate]

function custom_excerpt_length( $length ) {
  return 20;
}
add_filter( 'excerpt_length', 'custom_excerpt_length', 999 );

Add above code to your functions.php, and set the value 999 to the desired length.
