https – too many redirects

I am replying to this question, as it hadn’t been answered effectively for a long time.

As disabling plugin hasn’t fixed the issue, you should take two additional steps:

Check WordPress Address(URL) and Site Address(URL)

  1. Head to Settings > General Settings.
  2. Ensure that the links entered in WordPress Address(URL) and Site
    Address(URL)     fields are the same.

Renaming .htaccess File

  1. Go to public_html directory. Search for .htaccess file.
  2. Rename the file.
  3. Try to get access to your site. You will find that the too many
    redirects error is not being displayed.
