Ok solved, I managed to run a query for each post as a WP_Query instead as Brasofilo pointed out. Then built in the custom pagination via wordpresses help rather than WP_navi as this would not split into sections on one page. Your problem might be related to 5. The previous_posts_link only accepts one valid parameter, and that is $label, you are passing two.
