You have try to to deactivate all plugins, one by one. Then change your theme to standard (let say, twentyseventeen). This procedure will help you to find the source of the problem.
There is a useful plugin dedicated for this task called : Remove Dashboard Access which allows you to remove direct access to wp-admin for all users except the admins.
You should add the analytics code inside <script>…</script> code ginven to you by Analytics immediately before the </head> or, if you want to add it in the footer, right before the closing </body>. If you done that, can you please share the full code you try to add? (make sure to remove the tracking number)

The Members Plugin would allow you to define a user role then you could use the widget logic plugin to control the sidebar. Something like current user can(‘new_role’) Show sidebar
