I am running Turbo C on DOSBox in Ubuntu 12.04. The problem is that two black stripes are coming on either of screen. I want to remove them. My computer is a Dell Studio 15z with screen resolution 1366×768. I don’t have a problem even if distortion occurs. Relevant part of my dosbox.conf file:
go to dosbox installation directory (on my machine that is C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74 ) as you see the version number is part of the installation directory name. run “DOSBox 0.74 Options.bat” the script starts notepad with configuration file: here changewindowresolution=1600x800output=ddraw (the resolution can’t be changed if output=surface – that’s the default). safe configuration file changes.
