You most likely have invalid URLs in the database, however, it’s also entirely possible to have a hard-coded URL in somewhere in the theme or perhaps a plugin, or even .htaccess. I found a plugin called Add from server that I used to pull in the images. It doesn’t feel rock solid but I think it worked.
I agree with Drupalizeme above. Use phpmyadmin and go to wp-options table. you should see a line for siteurl. make sure it does not say HTTPS.
