I assume you have opened port 80 on your local firewall?
This doen’t answer your question directly but might be quicker and easier to set up based on the time limits you have. You can try installing a server technology called Apache it is packaged into XAMPP.
I have had more success with Apache out of the box than IIS.
I’ll be able to provide a guide for WordPress via IIS on Windows 10 later when I get home.
