I think you should look into jQuery as your default javascript library, it’s used by many web professionals and is very good. There you will find the Accordion control, which I think will suite this need very well. Good luck!
I would say it is easier to use jQuery.ajax: jQuery is a great tool with lots of examples and plugins that allow you to do some pretty amazing things!

You are making a JSONP request, but the server is responding with JSON. The browser is refusing to try to treat the JSON as JSONP because it would be a security risk.
