A “Driver class” is often just the class that contains a main. In a real project, you may often have numerous “Driver classes” for testing and whatnot, or you can build a main into any of your objects and select the runnable class through your IDE, or by simply specifying “java classname.”

By “undefined object as a parameter”, I assume you mean that you’re looking to write a function that doesn’t specify the type of the object in the function declaration, allowing you to only have one function. Hadoop “Unable to load native-hadoop library for your platform” warning

I assume you’re running Hadoop on 64bit CentOS. The reason you saw that warning is the native Hadoop library $HADOOP_HOME/lib/native/libhadoop.so.1.0.0 was actually compiled on 32 bit. Anyway, it’s just a warning, and won’t impact Hadoop’s functionalities.
