problem with main site (root domain) redirects to subdomain (multisite)

Well, based on @fischi’s comment, I’ve deactivated the Polylang plugin and it seems that this was the root of my problem here.
And now it even makes sense, because when working with multisite in WP, there is no need for a multi-language plugin, because every site is in its own language (in this case, anyway).
