You want to replace a string within the result, you’ve got it in the function’s arguments. Nothing WordPress-specific here. $post_url = str_replace( ‘http://’, ”, wp_get_shortlink() );

Make all user author to contributor. After no user post directly you blog but submit article for review. Only Admin can publish.

Use wp_set_object_terms( $object_id, $terms, $taxonomy, $append ); to get this done. The issue was with the category name, it started with a number..! I changed it into a string and it now works. 5 hours later….
