Outside of subqueries, MySQL will only process 1 query at a time. When running sql statements through phpmyadmin, it just executes 1 query after the other. To do the same thing in WordPress, it appears you just use 1 query per $wpdb object (those can have subqueries if desired, but not what’s needed here).
I don’t know of any plugin specifically for this, there’s nothing in WP that will do this but it’s not too difficult to implement with a little php, even 20k posts shouldn’t be too extreme. Upon testing this on my demo site it seems to work perfectly well simply storing DateTime columns as a %s (String). After inserting like this the database reports the DateTime column exactly as expected.
