WordPress (behind HAProxy and Jetty), not multisite, in sub folder – and /en/wp-admin/ keeps redirecting to /wp-admin/

Do you happen to have PHPMyAdmin or Adminer or a similar tool installed in your web server? You could easily run a search & replace. I’d recommend running a search and see if all the matching records make sense. Then, run a search & replace. As @WebElaine mentioned, WP tends to store the URLs in … Read more

Remove favorites action menu and screen options panel

I once did extend the screen panels, putting a third one next to screen and help. But that was mainly by javascript. So you can remove them with javscript I’m sure. There were no hooks or so, that’s why I opened a ticket as well with a patch because I thought that it would be … Read more

Is there a quick way to find out what posts haven’t been tagged?

Create custom fields as image uploads [duplicate]

Try the Multiple Post Thumbnails plugin, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multiple-post-thumbnails/. It will allow you to set a post type to have more than one post thumbnail, so you can set a front, back, index separately using the built-in handling.

Modify WP-Admin login fields

There are plugins which help to do this: With http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-login/ people can use their email address instead of their username to log into you WordPress install. Using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-my-login/ you can have the WordPress login included in your design, and allow users to modify their account information without logging into the backend.
