Andre, you are using $paged variable as an argument for your query, but you haven’t declared that variable. Try declaring that variable above the arguments using: <?php $paged = (get_query_var(‘paged’)) ? get_query_var(‘paged’) : 1; ?> Hope this will solve your problem. Moreover its better to use the content for postcover.php on the same page instead.
This is a bit of a guess but there is a setting in the backend that will discourage indexing. Make sure that is not checked.
1) Go to post categories. 2) Click on ‘edit’ of the target category. 3) Scroll down and there will 2 options to select indexation option of all posts in that category and whether to include in sitemap. Update as you want and BINGO!

The best way for this is either use: Attachment Pages Redirect plugin or use WordPress Seo. You can use Attachment pages redirect to redirect the attachment pages to post page or home page. And also you can use WordPress SEO to redirect to homepage. Hope this worked.
